Volunteer Interest Form

Huddle Volunteer

A Huddle is a consistent small group of coaches or athletes designed to engage, equip, and empower them to make disciples who make disciples. This is what FCA is all about!

As a Huddle Leader, your goal is to create an environment in the sports community where the Gospel is made known and lived out. Huddle Leaders help advance the mission of FCA by seeking to lead every coach and athlete into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ and His church. Join FCA and the global community of coaches and athletes pursuing this mission together!

Description Title

A local Leadership Board Member is a key volunteer who supports the ministry by leveraging their influence through prayer, serving, and giving. By doing so, Leadership Board Members are one of the primary pillars of ministry stability and financial stability.

Board Members provide both prayerful and wise counsel from their giftedness and experiences as they serve on Board teams which will support ministry growth.

Description Title

A Character Coach is a volunteer who engages, equips, and empowers coaches and athletes spiritually through personal, character, and leadership development. The mobilization of Character Coaches is a key initiative for FCA as we pursue the mission of leading every coach and athlete into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ and His Church.

Giving a weekly devotion or character talk is not being a Character Coach; that’s being a guest speaker. A Character Coach establishes a consistent presence with specific teams and sets the tone for future ministry opportunities in huddles, 1 on 1 discipleship, and through events.

Description Title

A certified ministry event built around our methods Engage, Equip and Empower. Camps use the annual theme and God’s word for athletes and coaches to develop athletic skills, create influential relationships and encounter Jesus Christ.

Additional Volunteer Opportunities

The volunteer is the most significant part of the FCA ministry. As a local, grass-roots movement, FCA depends on volunteers to be involved in every aspect of ministry. When volunteers are mobilized, they are connected and trained by local staff to make an impact in their community.

There are many additional ways people get involved with FCA. One specific way is to become an Event Volunteer by serving at Camp, Fields of Faith, Banquet, Golf Outing or Retreat. FCA wants to join you on your journey to invest your gifts and talents into the lives of others.
